Our schooling shows this season will be May 12-13, June 23-24, and August 18-19. Hunter/Jumper and Combined Training Jumping will be on Saturday and Dressage and CT Dressage on Sunday! And back by popular demand we will also have a Dressage Prep Clinic on Sunday, April 1st! Ride a test and receive some great feedback on how to improve your score from judge Nicole Trapp!

On Sunday, November 20th, HRC will be welcoming back guest instructor Gilly McPhee to Hoofers to teach equitation focused flat and jumping lessons for the day.
Universe in the Pasture will be on October 8th this year at Hoofer Equestrian Center.

Registration is now open for Hoofer's Fall Dressage, Combined Training, and Jumper Show! Closing date is Monday, October 17. The show will begin at 9:00am on Sunday.

Despite the soaring temperatures, riders of all ages, disciplines and levels gathered at Hoofer Equestrian Center July 22nd - 24th to participate in the Melanie Michalak Musical Freestyle Dressage Clinic. Auditors too braved the heat to watch the riders have a lesson with Melanie and then ride through custom-made musical freestyles, some that were designed for international competitors and won awards!
It ended up being a great day for the Hunter/Jumper portion of our first Schooling Show of the season. Thank you for not raining, Wisconsin! We did take some photos of the riders at the show, which will be posted at our Facebook photo site, so please visit to check out your photos.
Saturday morning bloomed bright and balmy for March, as the dressage arena was set up in the indoor in preparation for the Nicole Trapp Dressage Clinic. Participants cleaned up muddy horses and blew the dust off their show clothes as the clinic started early Saturday and the judge, Nicole, took careful notes and gave lengthy feedback to riders.
