Hoofer Riding Club Fees

All payments can be deposited at the Memorial Union in the Hoofer Lounge or in the dropbox at the stable (located in the Lower Barn). If you are paying by check, please make it out to the Wisconsin Union.

 Membership Fees 

In order to ride our awesome Hoofer horses, you need an up-to-date Hoofer Riding Club Membership and Union Membership. A new membership form must be signed each time a membership payment is made. If you prefer to fill out a paper form, they can be found at the Memorial Union in the Hoofer Lounge or by the dropbox in the Lower Barn at the stable. 

 Lesson Fees 

Lessons must be paid for on or before your first lesson - a late fee of $15 is charged for anything after that. Group lessons are offered in a six-week session. Lesson takers are expected to pay for the six weeks at once. Private lessons must be scheduled individually with instructors.

  Trail/Ring/Senior Ride

Trail rides are offered to Hoofer Club members and their guests. Ring and Senior rides though are only offered to club members. Before signing up make sure you have an up-to-date membership!

 Leases

Leases are only offered to Hoofer Club members. If you are interested in leasing, check with the Hoofer Head of Instruction to find out about the horse's availability. In order to lease you must already be a Senior Rider of that particular horse.

 Youth Experience/Summer Camp

 Youth Experiences (see Youth Experiences page for more information) are $15 per person with a $150 minimum.

Youth Summer Camp is $290 per week (for more specific information please see our Summer Camp page).

The CIT fee for Summer Camp is $50.
